We have the advantage of hunting both the Forest and the Refuge. Our hunts can be split up into several different trips to help accommodate the ever changing hunting situations we are beginning to face. Bison License/NER Access Permits: The Wyoming Game and Fish Jackson office is open Monday – Friday and is closed on holidays. Please keep this in mind when planning arrival and hunting dates, because bison licenses must be purchased in person by the license holder. We can assist you in getting a permit.
The National Elk Refuge, Bison Hunting Information and Regulations four-page handout thoroughly explains the refuge permit application process, along with general elk hunting information, special regulations, access and travel while hunting, and retrieval of harvested animals. Click HERE »

You are hunting America’s largest free roaming herd of bison. Our hunts are fair chase and we abide by all game laws set by the Wyoming Department of Game and Fish. We offer several hunt packages so please call for information. We recommend that you be in as good of physical condition as possible, prepare for the elevation change by arriving a day or two early if possible, be confident and accurate with your rifle and where it shoots at various distances, and if hunting off horseback, ride a horse few times before your hunt to make any time in the saddle more comfortable. We can cover a lot of country scouting for bulls and we do this by glassing and by horseback. Weather conditions can change from sunny and warm to windy, foggy, and snowy. Check the long range forecast on the internet before your arrival. Dress in layers and be prepared for all weather conditions. Bison hunts can be on an on-call basis.
Buffalo hunt success is still over 95% even though the buffalo hunts are getting more difficult every year.
